Wholesale & Ordering
Getting Started
What is the minimum order to open a wholesale account?
Our minimum for most wholesale accounts is 5 lbs per week. For distributors and multi-location groups, minimums are negotiated based on volume. We don't impose an upfront minimum purchase — just a consistent weekly commitment.
How do I place my first order?
Submit a wholesale application on our website or email
sales@microgreenusa.com. Our team will respond within 24 business hours with pricing, variety availability, and a complimentary sample offer for qualifying Southeast USA accounts.
Do you offer net-30 payment terms?
Yes, net-30 billing is available for approved wholesale accounts after a standard credit application. New accounts typically start on COD or card-on-file terms and transition to net-30 after 4–6 consistent orders.
Can I change my order week to week?
Yes, with 48 hours' notice. Standing orders are managed weekly and can be adjusted for variety, quantity, or delivery format with a 48-hour change window before your delivery day.
What delivery days are available?
Standard delivery days for Southeast USA accounts are Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. For high-volume accounts, additional days may be available. National and export accounts are dispatched based on freight schedules — typically Monday–Thursday.
Product Questions
Varieties & Shelf Life
How long do microgreens last after delivery?
Most of our varieties maintain quality for 7–10 days post-harvest under proper refrigeration (34–38°F). Pea tendrils have the longest shelf life at 10–12 days. Basil is the most delicate at 5–7 days. Proper storage — sealed packaging, consistent cold, no ethylene exposure — maximizes this window.
How many varieties do you carry?
We maintain 40+ varieties in regular rotation. Not all are available at all times — some are seasonal, and some are grown to specific contract volumes. Our wholesale team provides a current availability calendar to all active accounts.
Are your microgreens certified organic?
Our production uses 100% certified organic seed and no pesticides, herbicides, or synthetic nutrients of any kind. We are pursuing formal organic certification — contact us for the current status. We can provide full documentation of all inputs used.
Can I order custom mixes?
Yes. We offer custom blend mixes for established wholesale accounts at 10 lbs/week minimum per blend. Common mixes include our Sushi Mix (sunflower, radish, pea), Brassica Pack, and Spicy Blend (mustard, arugula, radish). Custom blends require 72-hour advance notice.
Food Safety
Compliance & Documentation
Are you FSMA compliant?
Yes. We operate a fully documented FSMA Produce Safety Rule compliant food safety program. Our written Food Safety Plan, environmental monitoring records, and lot traceability documentation are available to wholesale accounts upon request.
Can I get a Certificate of Analysis with each order?
Yes. COA per delivery is available for all wholesale accounts. The COA documents lot number, harvest date, product specification, and relevant environmental monitoring data. Contact your account manager to set up automatic COA delivery.
Do you conduct third-party testing?
Yes. We conduct periodic third-party microbiological testing on finished product including testing for E. coli O157:H7, Listeria monocytogenes, and Salmonella spp. Results are available to wholesale accounts upon request.
