FSMA Compliant

Food Safety Without Compromise

We operate a comprehensive food safety program that meets and exceeds FSMA Produce Safety Rule requirements. Full documentation is available for all wholesale accounts to support your compliance and audit needs.

Compliance Framework

FSMA Produce Safety Rule

The FDA Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) Produce Safety Rule establishes science-based standards for the safe growing, harvesting, packing, and holding of fresh produce. As a commercial producer, we are subject to these requirements and maintain full compliance documentation.

Written Food Safety Plan

Our written Food Safety Plan documents all preventive controls, monitoring procedures, corrective action protocols, and record-keeping requirements. Available for review upon wholesale account approval.

Environmental Monitoring

Regular environmental swab testing across growing rooms, harvest areas, and packaging spaces. Swab results are documented with corrective action records for any positive findings.

Lot Traceability

Every production batch carries a unique lot number traceable from incoming seed (supplier, lot, germination test) through growing records to final delivery documentation. One-step-forward, one-step-back traceability.

Certificate of Analysis

COA available per shipment documenting the lot number, harvest date, product specification, and relevant test results. Available in standard format or customized to your procurement requirements.

Pathogen Management

Zero-Tolerance Protocols

Indoor controlled-environment agriculture significantly reduces pathogen risk compared to field production — no wildlife contact, no soil contamination, no rain-splash inoculation. We supplement this structural advantage with active monitoring and sanitation protocols.

Water Safety
All irrigation water passes through RO filtration. Source water tested quarterly. No recycled or recaptured water used in production. Eliminates waterborne pathogen vectors common in greenhouse operations.
Substrate Safety
Coco coir and perlite substrate is commercially sterilized and used only once — never reused between crops. Eliminates the Fusarium and Pythium risk present in recycled growing media.
Worker Hygiene
All personnel follow documented hygiene protocols. Gloves, hairnets, and dedicated footwear required in growing and harvest areas. GMP-aligned training documentation maintained for all employees.
Equipment Sanitation
All harvest tools, trays, and surfaces sanitized between uses with food-safe sanitizers. Sanitation logs maintained. Contact surfaces cleaned and tested on documented schedules.
Facility Security
Controlled access to growing and harvest areas. Visitor log maintained. Pest exclusion systems active. No animals permitted in production areas. Security assessed in the Food Safety Plan.
Recall Readiness
Mock recall exercises conducted annually. Lot traceability system enables identification of all affected customers within 4 hours. Documented recall procedures available to wholesale accounts on request.
